WOWIO, an Alliance Acquisitions, Inc. company, is a unique eBook marketplace that stands apart from the crowd by offering significant advantages to readers, authors, publishers and advertisers.

We know authors and artists work hard to create their books, and we believe they deserve fair compensation. That’s why on WOWIO, they get to set their own prices, and keep 100% of those prices (less the credit card processing fee). That’s right. Authors and publishers keep 100% of the revenues of all retail sales.
WOWIO also has proprietary technology that allows eBooks to be sponsored, which ultimately means free eBooks for our readers. Advertisers subsidize or buy the book for the reader. The reader tells their friends about their cool, new free eBook. The friends download their cool, new free eBooks. The advertisers expand their reach with a closer, one-to-one relationship with consumers. The authors and publishers have an increased audience that stretches far across the globe. Everyone’s happy.

Since our eBooks are in PDF files, they maintain the original visual content the authors, artists, and publishers intended you to see. Photographs, artwork, fonts, graphics…it’s all there. - Rich media content
We love books, and we love that digital technology allows us to incorporate multimedia elements into eBooks. Since we believe this enhances the reading experience, we’re continually adding titles with ‘transmedia’ elements where the reader gets to, for example, watch an animated sequence in an eComic, listen to the original radio broadcast of War of the Worlds, or watch author interviews. It’s more than just books; it’s “BOOKS EVOLVED.”
